As I continue to bring my infrastructure out of the dark ages, I’m working on transitioning from PHP 5.6.40 to PHP 8.5.  Last week I worked through installing the new version alongside everything else on this server, then got WordPress updated as well.  Now I’m working on switching the entire wfredk.com website over, and nearly everything that I’ve had to fix has been independent of both the site’s own code and the framework it’s built in, which is amazingly encouraging.
