Hobbies and Habits

Things I do (besides computer stuff):
- Dancing (most often, "technorobics" - techno music is great for doing aerobic exercise)
- Bicycling
- Reading
- Photography (still and video)
- Cooking
- Woodworking and furniture construction
- Writing fiction and philosophy
- Girl watching
- Frisbee
- Art (painting, sculpture)
- Astronomy
- Model railroads
- Scale models (planes, cars, etc.)
- Camping
- Hiking
- Alpine (downhill) skiing
- Participatory team sports, on occasion
- Auto restoration
I want to get my eyes fixed (laser surgery) so I don't have to wear glasses or contacts. Once I've done that, there are more things I want to try:
- Scuba diving
- Surfing
- Skydiving
Things I don't do:
- TV, unless I've put on a video to watch (except rare exceptions)
- Watch "professional" sports (The term is an oxymoron - a self-contradicting term: If it's a game (a recreational activity), why are people paid to play?)
- "Sport" hunting (If I go hunting, it's with a camera.)
- Religion
- Politics (although, with my philosophy being what it is, that's becoming harder to avoid all the time...)
